Some classwork - designing an Oscar dress based on a butterfly.  Didn’t get around to doing a final presentation-quality drawing, but I hope you can get something from my idea phase.

Also, I’m moving this weekend and won’t have the Internet at home until the 8th, so I might not be posting much. Sorry!

I like the idea of GLaDOS being all menacing and revenge-seeking towards Wheatley for some reason… it just makes me want to draw it. So I did, but only after the idea spent a couple months knocking around in my head, ahaha. Androidy-humany versions as usual.. messed up a little in places but meh, enjoyed the process and that’s the important thing!
(drawing a character injured doesn’t make you a horrible person, right? right??)

Full Concept Art Scans & Translated Pages Of Hyrule Historia Available

This beautiful little gem of Legend of Zelda lore was released back on December 21st of this past year to the ever so lucky citizens of Japan, as the story goes with most awesome Nintendo swag. This book not only contains more that just the artwork that spans Legend of Zelda’s 25 years of existence. It also contains “A Complete History of Hyrule”, which reviews the storyline of each game, additionally suggesting a complete take on the timeline of games which was touched on by Super PolyPixels own Mark Renna.

Enough time has passed for the book to have finally had a full scan of all of its concept artwork and images ranging from the original Legend of Zelda all the way to the most recent Skyward Sword. These images, neatly organized for our viewing pleasure, have been uploaded to flickr. There are also full page scans and translations. If you fancy yourself a fan of the longstanding Nintendo series, be sure to take some time for yourself to review some of these gems!

“We had a monster where there were two forms of him. When you’re inside Rapture it would be more upright and have a more humanoid look to it. When it would go out in the water, what looked like its arms when it was on land became its legs, more or less and its fins, and that would propel it.”
